I am so excited to participate in the 2019 CHOC Walk to show my support for my student, Duncan, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia soon after his 8th grade graduation. The battle he is fighting is incredibly tough. Therefore I will walk, with my son Ethan, to show Duncan we are here to support him and to let him know that we are proud of him and his bravery in fighting this ugly disease. The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams.
