My family & I are so excited to be participating in the 2023 CHOC Walk in the Park, presented by Disneyland(R) Resort on Sunday, August 20, to raise funds for CHOC. CHOC holds a very special place in my heart, and has played a big role in our lives so far since we welcomed our baby boy, Tanner, into the world in December of 2022. We are one of the many families that collaborate with the CranioFacial Team at CHOC, as our perfect boy was born with a soft palate cleft (an opening that exposes the sinus cavity within the back of his mouth). Tanner will require surgery at the end of this year, in addition to numerous clinic visits & check-ups that we will attend throughout his childhood. We are extremely grateful for the team members of CHOC that we get to work with to help our boy thrive & heal as he continues to grow into the strong, joyful, active little man that he is! I cannot wait to experience the Disneyland Parks that morning as we walk in support of an organization that we hold dear.
