We so excited to be participating in the 2023 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 20, to raise funds for CHOC.

As many of you know, Levi was born with a rare heart condition called Total anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (TAPVR). Simply put, his heart was unable to oxygenate his body appropriately due to structural abnormalities between the heart and lungs which required immediate life saving surgery. Shortly after delivery and prompt diagnosis by the NICU team at St. Marys in Apple Valley, CA contact was made to CHOC and through team work and collaboration of both hospitals, Levi was transported to CHOC which gave our little guy a fighting chance at life. The team at CHOC from the start offered hope in a rather gloom situation. The doctors, nurses, Case managers etc. were  phenomenal in not only caring for Levi but Tyler and myself ae well. We felt reassured, supported, loved and confident in the decisions made which led us to hi receiving his surgery at CHOC. 

Being a part of the CHOC family has forever changed our lives, and has been such a blessing to our family and our little CHD warrior Levi!
