I stand before you today to share a story of hope, resilience, and unwavering support. Imagine your world turned upside down when you hear the words "Type 1 diabetes" uttered by a doctor, as it was for our little warrior, Brixton, at just 9 months old. In that moment, fear gripped us, but it was CHOC hospital that held our hands and guided us through the storm.
 
CHOC, the beacon of light in our darkest hour, became our lifeline. Their dedicated medical team embraced us, their expertise became our shield, and they truly saved Brixton’s life. Through the sleepless nights and countless worries, CHOC was there, unwavering and unyielding.
 
Today, Brixton stands strong, a testament to the miracles that CHOC hospital performs daily. But they can't do it alone. They need us, the community, to stand with them. Your support can provide cutting-edge treatments, breakthrough research, and above all, the warm embrace that Brixton and countless others have felt.
