I'm so excited to be participating in the 2023 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by _Disneyland_® Resort on Sunday, August 20, to raise funds for CHOC!
Why do I do this you ask?!?
CHOC was everything to Hudson and the Kent family when they needed them to beat Cancer! And… they continue to support so many kids who need them each and every year!
Here is Hudson's story which is just one of the heart touching stories that you are reminded about when walking through Disneyland on the morning of the CHOC WALK. In March of 2011, Hudson was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15 months. With the amazing care that he received through the Children's Hospital of Orange County he successfully underwent multiple surgeries and 6 months of weekly chemotherapy. CHOC not only took care of Hudson but took care of his family by being patient, kind, understanding, and simply just being present for them.
We are now proud to say that Hudson is 11 years Cancer Free. For the past 12 years CHOC has made every blood draw, office visit, transfusion, CT Scan, X-RAY, ultrasound, Chemo treatment, Infusion treatment, surgery as painless and smooth as can be. Hudson never complains when we need to go to a check-up or appointment at CHOC. This event is an honor that Hudson looks forward to each year. He is so proud to hold our team signs and to walk along side his friends and family during the parade. TEAM HHK has grown with the support of our family and community.
Please consider joining our team and experiencing this walk. I am so happy I have walked on Team HHK since the beginning and look forward to walking again with an amazing team all while Hudson is THE CHOC Walk AMBASSADOR!!!

With Gratitude,
Shoshana
