I'm so excited to be participating in the 2023 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 20, to raise funds for CHOC. The CHOC Walk is back!

As many of you know, I was diagnosed 9 years ago with X-linked Agammaglobulinemia (XLA).  XLA is a rare genetic disease that most commonly affects boys and keeps them from producing B-cells, which means I produce no antibodies.  This life-changing moment left my parents devastated and wondering what my future would look like as I got older. Now almost a decade later I'm so happy to be thriving and owe so much to all the amazing caregivers and doctors that I see's at CHOC.  It is truly a special place and while I don't wish anyone to have to visit, if you do, you will find out just how amazing and wonderful it is!

Before COVID, we were so grateful to all of you who donated and walked with us for the Immune Deficiency Foundation Walk for PI. Sadly, this walk is no longer happening in the Los Angeles area so I decided that I REALLY wanted to support CHOC for the return of their CHOC Walk! I would love for you to join me as a teammate for the walk or help my team reach it's goals with a donation. 

I can't wait to join CHOC for an early morning through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. It would be amazing if you could join me at this unique experience - I've heard it will be filled with entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.
