Welcome to my CHOC Walk Fundraising Page!

I'm so excited to be participating in the 2023 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 20, to raise funds for CHOC. The CHOC Walk is back!
I am walking in support of CHOC whose neurosurgery unit operated on my Charlotte at 2 months old, and more importantly, two incredible individuals who are very special to me.
My niece, Emory Elser, has been a warrior since the day she was born. She has Stickler's Disease and CHOC has supported her development from an early age. She never complains and always shows up with love and smiles for all her family and friends. Despite SO many obstacles, my sweet Emory, continues to climb mountains. She doesn't allow her limitations to define her and rather uses them as fuel to do more, love fiercely, and live happily. She is an example to us all!
Colton Pena is my son's dear friend and teammate. He is our baseball teams ultimate hype man. He has a rare health condition that has him feeling sick (like flu sick!) most days. Despite all he goes through and the countless hours he has to spend at CHOC, he shows up to every game ready to battle and support his team mates. He loves so big and was put on this earth to change lives for the better!
Please help me in supporting these two incredible kids who are living with problems most adults don't have to deal with. Trust me when I say they are remarkable. Even $1 would be appreciated and would go a long way in helping my kiddos and all kids served by CHOC. Proceeds from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. Help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children and families of Southern California by:
-Donating now by clicking the "Donate" button above or
-Joining me at this year's event at the Disneyland® Resort by registering here
Many thanks in advance for helping us make a difference for the children and families of Orange County!
With Gratitude,
Melaura
