I'm so excited to be participating in the 2023 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 20, to raise funds for CHOC. The CHOC Walk is back! CHOC holds a special place in my heart since I used to be a patient there. At the age of two I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. One of the medications I took to treat my disease was a monthly infusion. These infusions were an ALL day ordeal, lasting up to 8 hours. You can imagine as a kid sitting in a hospital bed all day was not my idea of fun. However, the nurses at CHOC somehow made those 8 hours fly by. They were incredibly kind and always made sure I was comfortable.

I can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this unique experience filled with entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.
