Friends and Family,
We are Excited to walk with Amelia at this years CHOC Walk in the Park as her Sidekicks.
Amelia the Great is our Short Gut Warrior who's silly, stong, brave and oh so resilient! On Amelia's rough days that lead into weeks CHOC is her first call for help. CHOC has provided a positive experience for our whole family and they continue to help Amelia feel better hospital admission, after hospital admission. They listen to our concerns and suggestions and there is always so much support, from what now feels like, our family.
Today, we remember when our excitement turned into worry at our anatomy scan, we were suddenly faced with a future no one around us had ever heard of. Amelia was Born at 35wks and stayed in the hospital for months before she came home. Our short gut kiddo is a little complex but is just like any other toddler around. Through all the rough tumbles of toddlerhood Amelia keeps on going and we are always right by her side!
We are so proud of the big girl she has become and look forward
to seeing the rest of her journey ahead. With the support of our family and friends we are able to get through it all. Please helps us raise funds to her other Children and families like ours!
