For several years, one of the highlights of UNIFY’s community involvement efforts has been our ongoing support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the credit union industry’s charity of choice. This year, we are once again excited to be participating in Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) “Walk in the Park” (at Disneyland) on Sunday, August 20, 2023—a fun-filled fundraising effort in support of Credit Unions for Kids benefitting the Children’s Miracle Network. This year’s event marks a return to the tradition of participants being able to walk through Disneyland before the gates open to the general public and experience the park in a very unique way.
 
Also, this is a very special year as we are dedicating “Team UNIFY’s” participation in memory of Linda Edwards—UNIFY’s former Vice President of Culture and Learning & Development who recently passed away. Linda championed many organizational efforts but was particularly passionate about our participation and donation activities for the Children’s Miracle Network. 

Proceeds from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. Help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children and families of Southern California by:
