12 years ago our son, Husein, spent six weeks at CHOC. My son was very ill, however the team at CHOC worked their magic so that he could overcome his illness and come home to his family. Husein spent three precious months with his family before he was admitted to CHOC again, where he later left us for heaven. My family and I cannot thank the team at CHOC enough for all they did for Husein. Even though he is no longer with us, they gave Husein the opportunity to spend three months at home with his grandparents, siblings, uncle, aunt and parents. I am participating in CHOC Walk 2019 as my way of thanking the team at CHOC for everything they did for Husein. Please join me in my efforts to raise $4000.00 to support the care, services, education and research that CHOC Children’s provides children in our community.
