I am so excited to be participating in the 2019 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 11th! This is my sixth consecutive year walking in honor of my son, Jakob Xander, to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital. As you know, Jakob was born 13 weeks prematurely. I walk so that other children in our community can receive the same level of care that Jakob did during his 91 day stay in the NICU, regardless of their family's ability to pay. The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams.
