I am so excited to be participating in the 2019 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 11th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! My son, Mikah, was admitted to CHOC hospital when he was only 2 years old. It was the most terrifying time of my life. The staff at CHOC made us feel safe and welcomed. They kept us informed and were always so attentive to my baby and were always there for us. They brought him toys, took him for walks in a wagon while pulling is IV stand alongside. They took him down stairs for “turtle talk” and made the stay there less scary for all of us. I owe this facility more than anything and I know I can never repay them but I am willing to try.
