To purchase raffle tickets, visit our event page: chocwalk.org/darlyns-angels-cheers-for-choc ---------------------------------------- We are so excited to be participating in the 2019 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 11th to walk in memory and honor of Princess Darlyn Melody Ojeda Urias and to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital-where miracles happen. Many of you know, but for those who do not, baby Darlyn Melody lived in CHOC'S NICU since birth.Darlyn was born on April 9, 2017 and she gained her angel wings on March 23, 2018. She was a very special, unique and complex baby. She was born with Bi-Lateral Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, spinal abnormalities, duodenal atresia and a completely non-functional esophagus and she developed hydrocephalus. She had a total of about 9 surgeries. Her team at CHOC consisted of surgeons, neonatologists, gastroenterology, neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, RT's, Therapists, Child Life and her AMAZING nursing staff in the NICU. Without the amazing care that she received, our journey would not have been possible. We hope that you will join us on this magical morning and smile as we remember her and honor her along with many other children.
