Hi and welcome to my page! In 2002, my niece and nephew Shannon and Tyler were born at the beginning of my sister's 30th week of pregnancy. They spent the first 5 weeks of their lives in CHOC's NICU. CHOC's NICU is magic, they have the most special nurses and helped save my kiddo's lives into the thriving teenagers we have today! In 2017, tragedy struck my family. My sweet 16 year old niece Hillary Beth passed away suddenly. She spent her last hours at CHOC and the care my family received was incredible. After she had passed, someone from the family needed to wait for the coroner. I volunteered and sent my family home around midnight. A CHOC ICU nurse spent her lunch break with me and waited until 2:30 am with me until he arrived. At our darkest hour, the incredible doctors, nurses and social workers were our only light. Our family is passionate about giving back to CHOC. JOIN HEARTS FOR HILL!!!! I am so excited to be participating in the 2019 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 11th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams.
