Every year my friends and I fundraise money for CHOC Hospital. I love to fundraise because I want to help others survive. Nurses and Doctors helped me when I was in CHOC so now I want to help CHOC. I feel really bad for the children and others in CHOC so I fundraise for them. Why? It's because some childre are suffering out there.
My team and I have fundraised since 2013, that was when I was only 2 years old. Now I just turned 8. We raised over $20,000 and have over 14 team members. We put on a fundraiser event called Eat Drink and Be Giving. We have kids activities, entertainment, and food for all. This year will be our 3rd time doing this. I hope you all can make it.
Eat Drink and Be Giving Event: June 9, 2019 from 12pm - 4:00pm
At Variedy: 2807 McGaw Ave, Irvine, CA 92614
Message from her MAMA:
Every year when my family and I start raising funds for CHOC Children's Hospital, we are always reminded of our experience with CHOC with our first born, Kara Nguyen. Because of them, we have been able to experience parenthood to its MAX.
Kara Nguyen just turned 8 years old.
-She has created her own Youtube Channel. #KaraTubeXN
-She is the most amazing older sister to Cassandra Nguyen
-She has received an Award of Excellance at the 4th School District level for her Dance Choreography in 2017
-She's placed a few 1st place marks in her Ballroom Dance Competitions 2016-2018
-She is now representing the State of California at Nationals for her ChocWalk Heroes video that she interviewed, filmed, and edited herself 2018-2019
-She has raised over $25,000 for CHOC Hospital since 2013
-She has hosted 3 fundraising events benefitting CHOC since 2017
The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams.
Please help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children and families of Southern California.
Every dollar counts for kids!
Many Thanks,
Kara
