I am so excited to be participating in the 2019 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 11th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams. I have been blessed to be part of CHOC. CHOC staff is very friendly, welcoming, and has a great support team. I been attending since July 2017. In September 2017 I started steriod medications and in May 2018 I had developed an ulcer, I than was diagnosed with IBD- Crohns Disease and started IV Remicade Treatments right away. I was on treatments for a year until last month, I had allergic reactions.. I am now currently on a self injection medication called Humira. I have days were I have flare ups and not feel well, but I do my best to stay positive and overcome it.
