Peter, Ella, Halle, and I are all participating in our second CHOC WALK at Disneyland to honor the life of a precious friend named Jordan. Jordan (aka Jojo) was born on 10/28/10. At three years old, he was diagnosed with Mitochondrial Deletion Syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder. The doctors told his parents that they may have him anywhere between 2 weeks or 20 years or somewhere in between. At 7 years old on 2/5/18, Jordan took his last breath. There are no words to describe the loss in all of our hearts from the loss of our sweet Jojo. Jordan was a bright light wherever he went. He was always happy and the joy that filled his heart was so infectious. He loved life and truly lived it to the fullest. Jordan spent many hours under the amazing care of physicians and staff at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Please join our family in raising money for the CHOC Walk for Team LIVE LIKE JOJO.
The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. Please help me exceed our family's fundraising goal of $1,000 to benefit the children and families in need of care at CHOC.
If you would like to walk at the CHOC WALK, it's not too late. Reach out to me and I can help you sign up for "Team Live Like Jojo."
Many Thanks,
Peter, Liz, Ella, and Halle Black
