Jovan, Sebastian, Sienna & I will be participating in the 5k CHOC Walk again this year, in the very early morning of Sunday August 11th. We're honored to walk in memory of a special boy, our friend, Jordan (Jojo) Kalua Cline, who passed away in February 2018. Although he only lived to be 7, those seven years of life were lived with more intention, passion, positivity and purpose than most of us will live in an entire lifetime! It didn't matter if you knew Jojo for a few hours or years because truly, to know him was to love him. We miss Jojo tremendously.
Jordan battled a very rare disease, Mitochondrial Deletion Syndrome, which left his body constantly fighting to function. However, you would never know how severe his condition was when you met him, as he was always full of life and love. He loved to play with his brothers Justin, Jackson, and Jeremiah, ride horses and ski in Mammoth! While at home you would find him in a nerf gun or Star Wars battle or jumping on the trampoline. No matter how Jojo was feeling he always found the energy for his family and friends.
The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. Children's Hospital of Orange County provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams. I'm both honored & humbled to participate in this walk, and raise funds for this hospital that does so much for so many, and that has done so much for my dear friends, the Cline family.
Please help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children and families of Southern California by clicking on the DONATE button above.
No matter how little or much you can give, it's all important & appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your support.
Much love,
Jenée
