I am so excited to be participating in the 2019 CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort on August 11th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! My story is just one of the heart touching stories that you are reminded about when walking through Disneyland on the morning of the CHOC WALK. In March of 2011, I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15 months. With the amazing care that I received through the Children's Hospital of Orange County I successfully underwent multiple surgeries and 6 months of weekly chemotherapy. CHOC not only took care of me but took care of our family by being patient, kind, understanding, and simply just being present for us. I am now proud to say that I am 8 years Cancer Free. For the past 8 years CHOC has made every blood draw, office visit, transfusion, CT Scan, X-RAY, ultrasound, Chemo treatment, Infusion treatment, surgery as painless and smooth as can be. This event is an honor that I look forward to each year. I’m so proud to hold our team signs and to walk along side my friends and family during the parade.
