TEAM HHK is so excited to be participating in CHOC's first-ever Virtual Walk in the Park in May of 2021 to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital!  We have been walking since 2011 to support the hospital.

Our story is just one of the heart warming stories that you are reminded about when walking through Disneyland on the morning of the CHOC WALK.

In March of 2011, Hudson was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15 months. With the amazing care that he received through the Children's Hospital of Orange County he successfully underwent multiple surgeries and 6 months of weekly chemotherapy. CHOC not only took care of Hudson but took care of our family by being patient, kind, understanding, and simply just being present for us.

We are now proud to say that Hudson is 9 years Cancer Free. For the past 10 years CHOC has made every blood draw, office visit, transfusion, CT Scan, X-RAY, ultrasound, Chemo treatment, Infusion treatment, surgery as painless and smooth as can be. Hudson never complains when we need to go to a check-up or appointment at CHOC. This event is an honor that Hudson looks forward to each year. He is so proud to hold our team signs and to walk along side his friends and family during the parade.

TEAM HHK has grown with the support of our family and community. Please consider joining our team and experiencing this walk. We look forward to walking again with an amazing team.  Although this year we won't be walking through the streets of Disneyland.  Our team will be doing a safe and socially distanced walk through our neighborhood.

Although COVID-19 has changed life as we know it, one thing remains the same: children are still counting on CHOC and supporters like us to help them get better. As a non-profit organization, CHOC relies on community generosity to provide leading-edge care for infants, children and adolescents close to home. Your donation can provide vital resources to patients and families as they face today’s crisis.
