Hello to you, family and friends. 

We have decided to walk in memory of  Matthew "Lucha" Espino who left us far too early to find his place in the stars. Like the shooting star he was, he was a gift and a blessing for the very short time we had him. He came into this world 5 week too early landing in the NICU and fought for every moment so I nicknamed him Lucha. He fought to be with us and fought for us to love him - so we did fiercely.

I am asking for your help to spread the love around to families that need a little extra fighting power in Lucha's name. 

We're so excited to be participating in the 2024 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, July 21, to raise funds for CHOC!

We can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
