As someone who has been hospitalized 3 times at CHOC and 2 times at other places, I can tell you that CHOC is the best place a kid could be hospitalized by far! I was hospitalized at CHOC this past month for a bad case of salmonella and I was reminded just exactly what I was walking for!

For starters, they have the best staff ever! They want to help as much as they can and you can tell that they love what they do. They also made me as comfortable as possible, letting me see my family and having fun crafts to do with my sister that the child life specialists provided. My favorite thing to do though was to make bracelets with my sister! We liked to make them for the nurses to hang on their badges. In fact, I will be making friendship bracelets to give out to the nurses in the park because of this!
