I’m so excited to be participating in the 2024 CHOC Walk in the Park on Sunday, July 21, to raise funds for CHOC!
I walk as a part of team #CarterStrongForver in honor of our little superhero, Carter John Ankeny. Carter passed away just shy of his 7th birthday in 2017 due to complications related to treatment for leukemia. He was a ball of light who lived life with passion, tenacity and immense love. His spirit is something I wish we saw more of on this earth and his story will continue to be told in hopes of one day finding a cure.
CHOC did so much for Carter and his family and still does. Please consider donating or joining us for the walk.
