It’s that time of the year again where we ask you to please join us in supporting CHOC and the incredible work they do for so many children like our son, Scott and his cousin, Emma. Our Scotty boy had a brain bleed and stroke at birth, leading to seizures and blood clots in his brain. Emma was born with lissencephaly, a very rare brain disorder, and has been diagnosed with pachygyria and epilepsy. The two brain buddies are connected in so many ways and Scott would not be where he is today without his warrior cousin! CHOC has been a lifeline for our family, saving their lives and providing ongoing support for the last 1.5 years to Scott and 7 for Emma. As always, we walk not only to give back to CHOC but to spread awareness. Let's ensure more children receive great care, timely diagnoses and treatments. I can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
